Information we collect
We collect account details, contact information, profile and job-post content, approximate service area, uploaded media, communications, transaction identifiers, acceptance records, device and usage data, and information users provide to UPA. Stripe processes card details; UPA generally receives transaction status and identifiers rather than full card numbers.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts, publish approved profiles and posts, provide paid access and matching, process and confirm purchases, prevent fraud, protect users, answer support requests, send service notices, improve the platform and comply with law.
Visibility and sharing
Public profiles and posts display only the fields identified as public. Exact home addresses, private documents and payment-card numbers are not intended for public display. We may share data with service providers such as hosting, authentication, email, storage, analytics, payment and screening vendors; with another user when the purchased service authorizes contact access; or when required for safety, legal compliance or a business transaction.
Legal acceptance records
We may record the policy version, account, date and time, checkout or transaction identifier, and related technical evidence when a user accepts legal terms. These records help demonstrate consent and administer disputes.
Retention and security
We retain information while needed to provide services, keep transaction and acceptance records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information and opt out of promotional email using the message instructions or by contacting UPA. Some records may be retained where legally or operationally required. Account deletion does not erase information another user lawfully retained outside the platform.
Children
UPA Care accounts are for adults. The platform is not directed to children under 13. Families should avoid publishing a child's full name, exact address, school or other unnecessary identifying information.

UPA Care operates for users in the United States. Privacy rights may vary by state. We may update this policy and will post the current version; material changes may require renewed acceptance.
